Avocado Cream Base

I was looking for a unique idea for Valentine’s Day and fell in love with the picture of the “chocolate avocado pancake cake” I found it on the “Sweet and Sour” website. 💘

However, I decided to use the presentation idea of the cake and instead used the recipe for “almond little crepes” while Vany’s “avocado chocolate mousse” serves as the ganache.

This delightful little cake is perfect for a romantic evening!

Gisou’s Tips and Tricks

  • I initially tried making the ganache with Emilie’s recipe, which used only two ingredients (avocado and dark chocolate). However, my husband and I found that the avocado flavor was too strong. Then, I found Vany’s recipe, and we absolutely loved it!
  • Avocado provides a significant amount of vitamins (A, B, C, E, K) and various minerals (potassium, phosphorus, iron, etc.).
  • When purchasing avocados, they are often quite firm and take several days to ripen. To expedite the ripening process, avoid refrigerating them. Instead, store them at room temperature or wrap them in newspaper.
